Nate Murphy
Nate Murphy is a paleontologist with over 40 years working in the field of dinosaur paleontology, finding his first dinosaur at age 10. He founded the Judith River Dinosaur Institute as an educational vehicle offering real paleontological field experiences for teachers, students and serious amateurs alike.
Nate has discovered and excavated dinosaurs from north of the Arctic Circle to the southern tip of South America and many places in between.
He has been a paleontological consultant for many museums and is a veteran of a number of dinosaur documentaries for the Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, PBS and the BBC.
Nate has presented to academia, science teachers and dinosaur enthusiasts alike and was dubbed the ‘Peoples Paleontologist’ in an MSNBC feature story and he can bring his down to earth speaking style and encyclopedic knowledge of dinosaurian paleontology to your audience. Nate has appeared on stage with notables such as Neal Armstrong and Jane Goodall.
