Ron Russell

Ron Russell is a former member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police who retired as a commissioned officer. His policing experience ranged from small towns to large cities to northern and resort areas. He has worked as both a regional leadership trainer and an instructor at the RCMP Police Training Academy. During Ron’s career, he was formally recognized for both Excellence in Policing and Excellence in Public Order for the Prairie Provinces.
Ron grew up in Canada and attended University in the United States. Before becoming a Mountie, he enjoyed a career as a wildlife biologist.
He loves spending time with his wife, grandkids, and fishing – usually in that order,
… unless the fishing is really good.
