Originally a Primary School teacher, Kerrie-Anne specialized in craft teaching and has been teaching children, adult education and respite care for forty years. Having lived in six countries she has experience in teaching students of wide backgrounds and abilities.
Kerrie-Anne now specializes in teaching at conferences and on cruises combining her love of handcrafts, travel and travel writing.
Kerrie-Anne has pursued continual learning of new techniques she can pass on to her students including City and Guilds courses in Design, Machine Embroidery and Patchwork and Quilting. She is a qualified Quilt in a Day teacher and is also an Angle Play tutor.
In 2012 she had a solo exhibition of her Pictorial Art Quilts at Timeless Textiles Newcastle NSW. She has been Artist in Residence at Fibre Works BC Canada.

Kerrie-Anne’s varied classes enable guests to enrich their cruise by experiencing different crafts with everything they need supplied to complete their cruise memento, usually with a choice of colours. Although classes are one hour, a satisfying, successful class involves a completed project so she is happy to assist slower students complete their projects afterwards. Classes where students learn all the techniques needed to finish the project but are completed at leisure during the cruise are also popular.
