After leaving school, I working as a baker for several years, then took up the offer of joining the family business; selling fabric and gadgets to quilters. I soon got hooked on quilting and gradually started teaching, which I love. Over the years I have made a large number of quilts, bags, cushions and other fabric oriented items.
I am an now an accomplished quilter and regularly teach classes and workshops, both in the shop and at venues across the south of England. I also give talks to quilt groups, showing off my extensive collection of quilts.
I have displayed my work and been asked to judge at national quilt shows. I have recently returned from the National Exhibition Centre where I was demonstrating a range of new quilting products.
My work has appeared in quilting magazines and in a book called Jelly Roll Inspirations. I have also made quilts for charity and ran a weekend charity event attended by over 160 quilters.
