Dr. Colleen Castillo is a world-celebrated educator and teacher-trainer who has dedicated her life to helping international students learn English both at home and abroad. She also holds a degree in home economics. She has worked mostly at the university level but at times has taught students ranging in age from 3 to 88. She has had the privilege of conducting educational seminars in many countries including Korea, Japan, Australia, and Mexico.
Dr. Castillo enjoys traveling, and interacting with as many people as she can.
Dr. Castillo enjoys quilting and other types of needlework and crafts and especially enjoys sharing techniques to help others discover the satisfaction of making something with their hands.

Course Overview
This series of 16 fun, hands-on needlework classes will offer cruise passengers a chance to explore a variety of creative crafts, from crocheting to embroidery, in a relaxed, social environment. The focus is on small, portable projects that can be easily completed in one or two sessions, making them perfect for vacationers. No prior experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided, with each class designed to be lighthearted, entertaining, and accessible for all skill levels.
