Bio

Lawrence taught for a combined 35 years at the Air War College and the National War College concentrating on US foreign policy, and international relations with an emphasis on East Asia. His adjunct teaching positions  also included Georgetown University, UNC/Chapel Hill, and Auburn University.  Since 2003, his many cruise ship lectures have focused on Western Hemisphere topics with emphasis on Alaska and the North West Pacific, and the Caribbean and South America. Lawrence specializes in maritime history and discovery, colonization, regional warfare, and economic and political development.

All lectures are tailored to the vacationing audiences for infotainment purposes.
