Karen is a retired Detective from New Scotland Yard who served for 31 years in the Metropolitan Police. She later acted as a consultant/hunter in the TV series Hunted
- Karen can provide an insight into some of the most dangerous and fascinating areas of city policing. Drugs and firearms were part of daily life and the surveillance of armed criminals provided many challenges.
- During her career, Karen worked with international agencies to deal with crime at its highest level, as well as teaching young detectives throughout the Caribbean.
- Karen has proved to be an engaging presenter mixing serious subjects with a humorous slant to deliver an informative and thought- provoking series of talks.
- Karen encourages audience participation and welcomes Q&A sessions after all her talks.
- Karen is also the author of “Detective Doris,” a book based on her experiences as a Detective in the 70s and 80s.
